About us
The present project is a collaborative endeavour designed by four co-applicants and six partners based in different Swiss institutions.
This collaborative research structure was chosen because it allows: the collaborative production of original fundamental knowledge on crucial contemporary urban issues that cannot be tackled by a single institution; the development of theoretically and methodologically concerted research in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), where it happens too seldom; and the strengthening of the Swiss research community in urban studies.

Our core team consists of urban researchers at University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, Université de Neuchâtel and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
