Call for papers – Special Issue

The Responsible City research team is launching a call for papers for a special issue and a workshop on the topic:

The contested temporalities of responsibility.
Socio-ecological conflicts in housing

Coedited by: Frances Brill, Maxime Felder, Ifigeneia Dimitrakou, Hanna Hilbrandt

Selected abstracts will be invited to present at a funded workshop in Zurich – Switzerland – to take place January 12th – 13th 2027. Please only apply if you can attend. We intend to apply to publish the papers in a Special Issue in a journal such as Housing Studies. More information about the special issue can be obtained from the document below.

Deadline is June 30th, 2026, abstracts may be submitted via this form.
